Buguda Block Chairperson K Priyadarshini Achary has been selected as a delegate to take part in a prestigious national workshop organised by the National Commission for Women (NCW).
The three-day Workshop on Gender Responsive Governance for the elected women representatives under ‘She Is A Changemaker’ programme with an aim to train women PRIs on gender-responsive governance, began at the Parliament Building in New Delhi on January 5. Achary's selection stands as a testament to her dedication and leadership in community development.
Notably, among the ten outstanding women chosen from Odisha, she has actively participated in the Ganjam District Rural Development Agency's women's leadership training. Her journey from a district-level training camp to the national platform underscores the impact of grassroots initiatives in nurturing leadership.
The Block Chairperson's proactive participation from Buguda Block signifies the region's commitment to empowering women and fostering inclusive development.
