Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) is all set to organize Happy Street this year, following the success of last year’s event. The program will be inaugurated on December 15 at 7:00 AM, with senior BSL officials and other dignitaries expected to grace the occasion. Preparations for the event are already underway.
Organized under the theme Active Bokaro, Healthy Bokaro, the event will see participation from various schools, educational institutions, Women's Committee, Sangeet Kala Academy, CRPF, CISF, Rotary Club, Lions Club, Rotary Club of Midtown Couples, Postal Philately Group, Ex-Servicemen Association, and other organizations. Residents of Bokaro are also invited to join and participate.
The primary aim of Happy Street is to encourage a healthy lifestyle among people. Experts in cultural and sports activities will showcase performances to inspire attendees toward a happier and healthier life.
For the event, one lane from Bokaro Mall Mod to Gandhi Chowk will be temporarily closed for vehicular traffic from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM on select Sundays. Participants can enjoy and engage in various activities promoting the Active Bokaro, Healthy Bokaro initiative.
The Happy Street program will conclude on Friday, January 24, 2025, coinciding with the celebration of SAIL Day.
