Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL) has successfully reclaimed Plot No. C-3, which had been under illegal occupation for the past 25 to 30 years. The LRA department of BSL, under the leadership of General Manager (LRA-TA) A.K. Singh, along with the security team, sealed the plot today after a coordinated operation.
The plot was originally allotted to P.J. Wilson on May 20, 1970. However, the allotment was canceled after it was found that the lease conditions had been violated. Following the cancellation, the matter was taken to the Estate Court. The court ruled in favor of BSL and ordered the eviction of unauthorized occupants.
During this period, undesirable elements occupied the plot without legal authorization. Reports indicate that these occupants had been residing on the property without paying for utilities such as electricity and water.
In compliance with the Estate Court’s order, a joint team comprising members of BSL’s Land Revenue Administration (LRA), led by TA/GM A.K. Singh, and the security department cleared the plot and sealed it to prevent further encroachments. This operation marks a significant step in BSL's efforts to reclaim its properties and ensure lawful usage.
