Under the dual campaigns of 'Swachhata Hi Seva' and 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam,' Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL) conducted a large-scale tree plantation drive today. Director In-Charge of BSL, Birendra Kumar Tiwari, and Executive Director (Mines), Jaydeep Dasgupta, led the initiative by planting saplings at the Meghalaya Guest House located in the Meghahatuburu Iron Ore Mine area during their site visit.
Similarly, another tree plantation drive under the same campaigns was carried out in Sector 6, Bokaro, in front of the main gate of City College. The plantation was led by BSL's Executive Director (Human Resources and Additional Charge for Works) Rajan Prasad, who was joined by other senior officials. Present at the event were Chief General Manager (CED) Shaligram Singh, Chief General Manager (Town Administration) Kundan Kumar, along with other senior officials and employees of BSL.
These initiatives reflect BSL’s commitment to environmental conservation and community welfare, promoting cleaner surroundings and honoring mothers with the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' drive.
