MTI, Ranchi and IIM-K ink MoU
SAIL-MTI has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with IIM Kozhikode for academic collaboration at an event held at IIM Kozhikode on 9th December 2024. Shri Sanjay Dhar, CGM (HR-L&D) MTI, SAIL and Lt. Col. Julius George (Head – Admin & HR), IIM Kozhikode signed the MoU on behalf of the two organizations. Prof. Deepa Sethi, Dean, Outreach, Executive Education & Internationalization, IIMK and Prof. Deepak S Kumar (Chairperson – MDP), IIMK were also present during the event. The MoU would, inter-alia, facilitate conduct of customized Advanced Leadership Programme (ALP) for newly promoted CGMs of SAIL.
Ranchi Poetess gets Sahityoday Sahitya Ratna
The two-day Shivayan International Literature Festival under the banner of International Literature Art Culture Trust Sahityoday concluded in Haridwar with the flow of poetry by eminent poets and poetesses from the country and abroad. Rinku Banerjee "Madhu" was awarded the "Sahityoday Sahitya Ratna 2024" award in the presence of many eminent personalities like Sahityoday's founder president Pankaj Priyam, Sangarakshak Pt. Buddhinath Mishra, Acharya Devendra Dev, former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Everest winner Padma Shri Santosh Yadav etc. Her Veda singing and stage management were also highly appreciated.
SBI Card Crosses 2 Crore Cards in Force Mark

BoIOA Jharkhand held 20th yearly convention
The 20th annual convention of Bank of India (BoI) Officers Association (BoIOA), Jharkhand State Unit was held on Sunday in Ranchi. BoIOA, Jharkhand State Unit was chaired by Comrade Amit Kumar, General Secretary Comrade Prakash Oraon ji adorned the post of General Secretary and welcomed the top leaders of BoIOA from every corner of the country and appealed to all the comrades for unity. In this meeting, Comrade G Nagewar, President of Federation Bank of India Officers Association, told about the technological changes taking place in the banking environment at present and he opposed the government's policy regarding privatization of public sector banks.
Experiential Learning Programme at SBPS
Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi organised an experiential learning for the students of the pre-primary wing. They were actively engaged in various games and activities which fostered their critical thinking, creativity and teamwork. The tiny tots filled the air with merriment as they tapped to the rhythmic beats. They also had group lunch with their friends which taught them etiquettes and the virtue of sharing. The students were enthusiastic as they explored the world beyond their textbooks.
