Dr Ashok Bhagat awarded honorary PhD degree
Padma Shri recipient and Secretary of Vikas Bharti Bishunpur, Dr Ashok Bhagat received the honorary degree of "Doctor of Philosophy" from the hands of the Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Mangu Bhai Patel and the Higher Education Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Inder Singh Parmar, in the first convocation of IES University in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday.. Along with Dr Bhagat, Padma Bhushan recipient Sudha Narayan Murthy and Param Vir Chakra winner Subedar Major Yogendra Singh Yadav were also awarded the honorary degree. It is worth noting that even before this, Dr Bhagat was awarded similar honorary degrees by two universities.
Neha Gour becomes CEO of PR 24x7
Neha Gour became the Chief Executive Officer of PR24x7 from December 3, 2024, as the company celebrated its 25th Foundation Day. Neha’s journey with PR24x7 commenced in 2013 as a PR Executive and she has played a pivotal role in bringing transformations within the organization. CMPDI inks a MoA with HMA
CMPDI, RI-I, Asansol inked an MoA with HLL Management Academy (HMA), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on Wednesday for the CSR project “Promoting Healthy Menstrual Hygiene practices among girls through trainings and easy access to sanitary napkins and their disposals”. The cost of the project is Rs 75.41 Lakh. The MoA was signed by Irshad Ahmad, RD, RI-I, Asansol and Shamnad Shamsudeen, Deputy Vice President, HLL Management Academy & Waste Management Division. On this occasion, other officials from CMPDI and HMA were present. Under the project, 20 Sanitary Napkins vending machines along with the 16 Incinerators will be installed at 15 Govt. Schools of Asansol and 6,28,800 packets of Sanitary Napkins will be provided to these schools during the FY 2024-25 to FY 2026-27 period.
