Friday, 30 August 2024 | PNS | BOKARO

Under the direction of the Superintendent of Police Bokaro Pujya Prakash  and the leadership of Ashish Kumar Mehli, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Traffic, a special drive was conducted by the officers and staff of the traffic police station. The campaign aimed to raise public awareness about road safety and was carried out across long-distance buses, heavy vehicles, four-wheelers, three-wheelers, and two-wheelers.

During the drive, a breath analyzer was used to conduct checks for drunk driving. Violations such as wrong-side driving, driving without a license, riding without a helmet, not wearing seat belts, and other document-related infractions were also examined. Vehicles found violating the Motor Vehicles Act were fined, resulting in a total collection of ₹3,01,650.

Notably Bokaro Police efforts are commendable, and such initiatives are essential in promoting a culture of responsible driving, ultimately contributing to safer roads for everyone. The community's positive response to this drive further underscores the importance of ongoing public awareness campaigns. The Bokaro police deserve recognition and appreciation for their continued vigilance and commitment to protecting lives on the road.
