Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Election Officer (DEO) Vijaya Jadhav set an example for the community by casting her vote at Ankur Public School, Camp-2, her designated polling station.
After fulfilling her civic duty, Jadhav highlighted the significance of voting in a democratic society. Addressing the public, she urged, "I have cast my vote. Have you cast yours? Participate in this grand festival of democracy and exercise your right to vote!"
Notably by waiting her turn alongside other voters, she set a strong example of equality and the importance of individual participation. The DEO-DC Jadhav also emphasized the need for active public engagement, stating that every vote plays a critical role in shaping the future of the nation.
Her appeal comes as polling day witnesses a steady turnout, with authorities encouraging more participation to strengthen the democratic framework.
