Lieutenant Governor (LG) Vinai Kumar Saxena on Monday said that over 6,000 people participated in two days in the special camp organised by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) in unauthorised colonies for the PM-UDAY scheme.
In a post on X, Saxena said, “It is a pleasure to inform that during the last two days, 6,654 people participated enthusiastically in the 10 special camps organised by DDA in unauthorised colonies for PM-UDAY.” He said that 1,028 new applications received for ownership rights, deficiencies in 710 old applications were removed, 275 applications were approved. “These figures are encouraging. I request my sisters and brothers living in unauthorised colonies of Delhi to participate enthusiastically in the upcoming camps and join the campaign of the Honorable Prime Minister to provide ownership rights in all the unauthorised colonies of Delhi,” Saxena added.
