The preparations for the Jharkhand Combined Graduate Level Competitive Examination 2023, scheduled for September 21 and 22, at 64 centers across the district, are now complete. In a meeting held on Friday at the district Collectorate, Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav addressed the center superintendents, urging them to ensure smooth internal arrangements and strict adherence to the guidelines issued by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC).

Also present were Deputy Development Commissioner Girja Shankar Prasad, Additional District Magistrate M. Mumtaz Ansari, Nodal Officer for the Examination  Anant Kumar, and other senior officials. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of accountability and the need for error-free administration of the examination.

The JSSC will conduct the examination over three shifts during the two days. The first shift is scheduled from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, the second from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, and the third from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must report to their designated centers by 7:00 AM, and late entry will not be permitted. The use of electronic devices, including mobile phones and smartwatches, is strictly prohibited within the examination premises.

DC Jadhav reviewed the progress of CCTV, biometric attendance, frisking units, and jammer installations at the centers, instructing agencies to complete their tasks promptly. A composite control room will also be operational throughout the examination to ensure smooth and fair conduct, with Additional District Magistrate  M. Mumtaz Ansari overseeing its operation.

The meeting concluded with final instructions to the center superintendents, ensuring they are fully prepared for their responsibilities during the examination.
