Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) on Monday targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said that BJP will remain in single digit in the assembly elections.

JMM Spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said in a press conference that as soon as the elections have come, PM Modi has started missing the tribals a lot and if the Center is really concerned about the tribals of Jharkhand, then they should immediately give the outstanding amount of Rs 1, 36, 000 crore.

Bhattacharya said that after the mandate of 2019, the Hemant Government has started various schemes for people of all classes including youth, women, students, farmers. "Schemes were launched for the uplift of workers and women, for the betterment of education. Getting the dues would have made the implementation of these schemes easier. Rs 1,36,000 crore is not a small amount. This amount is more than the annual budget of many States," he said.

The JMM Spokesperson said that this is our dues and we do not want a gift from the Centre, we want this due amount. We did not take this State as a charity. "We took it through struggle and sacrifice. This state does not want a gift, we want our rights and entitlements. You kept our money and gave it to the corporates. You gave it to Adani. You gave it to Ambani. Stop their money and give us our money. We are capable of running our state," he said.

 "If you were so concerned about the tribals, then why don't you keep the Chief Minister of this state, who is a tribal, a son of a tribal, in jail for 5 months on a false case. The people of Jharkhand are demanding an answer from you for this. He was kept in jail for so many days on false charges, while the High Court said that prima facie this case does not stand. There is no land registry in his name. Nor is there any account book in his name. But he was arrested by the ED by recording false statements. Your people are getting the Union Minister to meet the person who is accused of the army land scam. They get him to meet those who are warrantees. Stop pretending to be concerned about the tribals. We will not let Jharkhand become a pasture," Bhattacharya said.

The party spokesperson said that the Center has given coal to Adani in Godda, water and electricity to Bangladesh. This kind of work will not happen again in Jharkhand. Your dream will be shattered, he said.

Bhattacharya said, you will be in single digit in the assembly elections and your condition here will be worse than Haryana and Punjab. He told PM Modi, you are the Prime Minister so you should do justice, do not give benefits to your friends. Give your public what is their right, he said.

The party Spokesperson said this strange kind of game has started. He said that we also told the Election Commission that the PM comes to Jharkhand the most and at that time many things are done in the name of security but now this will not happen and the main election is still pending. He said that after the implementation of the code of conduct, this arrangement which is there now will not be there. He said that we also want security for the Prime Minister but when it comes to the State, then there should be a discussion in a uniform manner.

Bhatacharya said now if the announcement of giving the outstanding Rs 1, 36, 000 crore is not made before the election, then the people of Jharkhand will teach him a lesson in the election.
