As part of the service fortnight marking the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a seminar was organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the Bal Bhawan in Gwalior.
The seminar was inaugurated by Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, who initiated proceedings by garlanding the portraits of the founding fathers of the party.In his address, Tomar expressed pride in being a worker of the party and said that he was fortunate to have grown under the tutelage of BJP leaders.The Assembly Speaker recounted the goals of the service fortnight and praised Prime Minister Modi for leading the country out of despair.Recounting Modi's tenure as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Tomar noted that the state witnessed immense progress and prosperity under his leadership. He added that the Prime Minister's vision of development and his concern for the poor are evident in the policies formulated under his leadership.
Tomar pointed out that when Modi launched the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission), many people took it lightly. However, today, this campaign enjoys global recognition, with the World Health Organisation (WHO) praising it and deeming it a significant step in the field of health. The seminar was attended by top party leaders in the Gwalior region, including Energy Minister Pradhumn Singh Tomar, Gwalior Division in-charge of the BJP Vijay Dubey, BJP District President Abhay Chaudhary, former District President Virendra Jain, Devesh Sharma, Jai Prakash Rajoria, Vinay Jain, Vinod Sharma, and a large number of BJP workers.
