Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, along with Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra, MPs, MLAs, and other leaders, participated in various Vijayadashami celebrations organized by different Shri Ramlila Committees across Delhi. In his message on the occasion of Vijayadashami, Sachdeva emphasized the special significance of this Dussehra for Delhi. Just as Dussehra symbolizes the triumph of good over evil through the slaying of the demon Ravana, this festival provides Delhiites with an opportunity to resolve to bring an end to the Delhi Government, which he described as a symbol of corruption and inefficiency, he said.
Sachdeva visited one of Delhi’s oldest Ramlilas, organized by Shri Dharmik Leela Committee, to watch the festivities and welcomed the President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Ramleela.
