Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Sunday lashed out at Chief Minister Atishi over the delay in the appointment of civil defense volunteers and stated that they will demonstrate outside her official residence on Monday demanding their reinstatement.
“It is strange and ironic that Chief Minister Atishi is so agitated by our demand to follow the Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena’s directive to reinstate the Civil Defense Volunteers/Bus Marshals. She is citing examples from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, yet she fails to explain why her government hasn’t reinstated them from November 1 despite the clear orders from the Lieutenant Governor,” Sachdeva said.
