BJP accuses Kejriwal of lying about voter names deletions

Wednesday, 25 December 2024 | Staff Reporter | New Delhi

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Tuesday attacked the AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal for being an ‘expert at lying’, stating that he is using a women as a pawn to create a false narrative of a large-scale deletion of votes in Delhi.

“Yesterday, during a program in Kidwai Nagar, Kejriwal introduced a woman, claiming that despite possessing an EPIC card, her vote had been deleted. However, today, the woman, Ms. Chandra, clarified in an interview with a news agency that she was and continues to be a registered voter in the Trinagar constituency and has been voting regularly,” the Delhi BJP chief said.

He stated that it is now proven that former Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal is an expert at lying. “Ms. Chandra stated to the news agency that she never mentioned anything about her vote being deleted to Arvind Kejriwal and speculated that he might have made the statement due to a misunderstanding or deliberately,” Sachdeva added.
