Bhumi pujan for development works

Mayor Malti Rai perfrmed bhum pujan for several development works in the Bairagarh area of the state capital. The ceremonial groundbreaking coincided with the birth anniversary of Sat Hirdaram after whom the suburb is named.

Celebrating the 119th birth anniversary of Sant Hirdaram, Mayor Malti Rai, and senior Bharatiya Janata Party functionaries including MLAs Rameshwar Sharma and Bhagwandas Sabnani, performed the ceremonial bhumi pujan of development works worth Rs 1.11 crore in Ward No. 04 of Sant Hirdaram Nagar. The ceremony included the unveiling of a commemorative plaque. The development works will include the beautification of Gidwani Park, cement concretization of two roads, and the construction and repair of sheds in Behta village and Sanjay Nagar. A number of prominent citizens,  including Mayor Council member Rajesh Hingorani and Ram Bansal, were present at the event.
