BHEL, Bhopal celebrated the Independence Day with traditional gaiety. On this occasion, SM Ramanathan, Executive Director, BHEL, Bhopal hoisted the National Flag in front of the Administrative Building and wished the people a Happy Independence Day.

The Jawans of Central Industrial Security Force, Bhopal saluted him at the function. Sangeeta Ramanathan, President, BHEL Ladies Club, all General Managers, Harish Sahu, Commandant, CISF, all Union representatives, BHECNIS members and employees were present on the occasion.In his address, Ramanathan said that today India is recognized as the largest democratic country in the world. The world has seen the rapid emergence of a powerful and sovereign India in recent years.

Today, under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the rapidly growing economy of our country is a topic of discussion for the world.

BHEL has also achieved profitability in harmony with this economic progress of the country and has entered new business areas by diversifying products under the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” and “Make in India” campaign of the Government of India.He told the employees that the current business scenario is very challenging and all our products are facing tough competition, but together we will establish this unit at a new height.

He said that the employees of Bhopal unit are capable and ready to provide their excellent services in any situation. The present time demands that we have to maintain this kind of commitment. Our future depends on this, we have to use our today for a better tomorrow. Along with this, he motivated all the employees for success in their future action plan.

Earlier on the eve of Independence Day, Sangeeta Ramanathan, President, BHEL Ladies Club distributed fruits to the patients admitted in Kasturba Hospital.

Alpana Tiwari, Head of Medical Services and Dr. Pamela Sachdev, General Manager were also present on the occasion.On the occasion of Independence Day, Bharat Heavy Electricals Cultural and National Integration Committee organized “All India Mushaira” in BHEL Cultural Bhawan.

On this occasion, all the members of the committee including BK Singh, President BHECNIS and Avinash Chandra, Vice President BHECNIS were also present. In the Mushaira, renowned poets of Hindi and Urdu world like Mahesh Aggarwal Bhopal, Azhar Iqbal Budhana, Nusrat Mehdi Bhopal, Shri Vijay Tiwari Bhopal, Akbar Taj Khandwa, Jahaaj Deobandi and Sufiyan Qazi Khandwa kept the people enthralled with their poetry.
