An awareness program was organized on 'World Hypertension Day' in the OPD premises of Hazaribag College of Dental Sciences and Hospital.Awareness about hypertension or high blood pressure was spread to the patients through street drama.In the awareness programme, doctors gave advice on good health to the patients.Students presented a street play on the theme “Measure Your Blood Pressure Accurately, Control It, Live Longer”. Awareness was created through prevention and treatment of hypertension.During this, Principal Dr K Srikrishna encouraged the students participating in the street theater program by giving them certificates and wished them good luck for their bright future.On the occasion, Dr. Praveen Srinivas, Secretary of Hazaribag College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, gave information about 'World Hypertension Day'.Dr. Praveen Srinivas said that high blood pressure or hypertension is one of the biggest causes of heart diseases and premature death worldwide. Measure your blood pressure accurately. Control it and survive longer. It is very important to control blood pressure.Many students including Principal Dr K Srikrishna and Dr Sayantan Chakraborty were present on the occasion.
