BJP State Spokesperson Bijay Chaurasia on Wednesday gave detailed information about BJP's upcoming Parivartan Yatra starting from September 20 at a press conference at Dhanbad Circuit House.
Chaurasia said that from 20th to 26th September, BJP will organize Parivartan Yatra in Dhanbad division and It would be inaugurated by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah and State President Babulal Marandi from Jharkhand Dham, the holy place under Jamua Assembly of Giridih.
After offering prayers at the historic roofless Shiva temple located in Jharkhand Dham, the Union Home and Cooperation Minister will also address a large public meeting.
He said that this journey will cover a distance of about 700 kilometres, passing through 14 assembly constituencies and 30 blocks in Dhanbad division.
There will also be 18 road shows in this yatra. This yatra will end in Dhanbad on 26 September.
The yatra to be held in Dhanbad, Bokaro and Giridih of Dhanbad division is the former state president and present HUDCO president Dr. Ravindra Rai and co-coordinator is Bharat Yadav.
There would be several programs including eleven public rallies in the Yatra in which many prominent national and state leaders will take part . Prominent among them are Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Child Development Minister Dr. Annapurna Devi, Subhendu Adhikari Leader of Opposition West Bengal assembly, Amar Bauri Leader of Opposition Jharkhand Assembly, former Union Minister Smriti Irani, MP Vidyut Baran Mahto, Dhullu Mahto, Uttar Pradesh Water Power Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, Jamui MLA Shreyas Singh, Rajya Sabha MP and state convener of the Yatra Deepak Prakash, former MP Yadunath Pandey, former MLA Sita Soren.
He said that for the last 5 years, the thug bandhan government has hurt the self-respect, identity and identity of Jharkhand. The people of Jharkhand are known for their honesty, truth and hard work but today the Hemant government has defamed Jharkhand in the country and the world. Jharkhand has become known for looting, corruption and mountains of notes.
Dhanbad District President Shravan Kumar Rai, General Secretary Manas Prasoon, Minister Pankaj Sinha, District Media Incharge Milton Parth Sarathi, Satyendra Mishra too were present at the press conference.
