AIIMS Bhopal is making continuous efforts to transform its campus into an eco-friendly and sustainable space while significantly reducing carbon emissions. Recognizing these green initiatives, SBI Card has extended assistance of Rs 3 crore to the institute under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to help build a green campus with solar energy infrastructure.

Currently, AIIMS Bhopal is generating 700 kW of solar energy, which accounts for 15% of the institute's total energy requirements.

On this occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal, remarked, "Solar energy is the best source of clean and renewable energy. The Green Campus initiative will not only be a significant step towards environmental protection but will also help in fulfilling our energy needs.

By building a green campus, we can ensure a clean and healthy environment for future generations. This project serves as an inspiring example of moving towards energy self-sufficiency, and we are proud to be contributing to environmental protection."

The Green Campus initiative aims to provide clean, green, and eco-friendly energy solutions through the use of solar power. This effort will not only  help the institute achieve energy self-sufficiency but will also support the maintenance of environmental balance.
