On the occasion of Swachhta Pakhwada and to celebrate the Bharat Ratan B R Ambedkar Jayanti in the association with RDA, AIIMS Bhopal organized the Swachhta Marathon on Sunday at 06.30 am, with the objective of spreading awareness of sanitation, waste segregation, and environmental protection. Around 300 participants from faculty, staff, and students participated.
Further, AIIMS Bhopal conducted a health and digital health awareness session, which was followed by a blood donation drive for staff & students of Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal.
Around 150 voluntary staff & students registered and donated blood during the drive.
Prof. Ajai Singh, Executive Director & CEO of AIIMS Bhopal, expressed that AIIMS Bhopal is committed to preventive health, environment protection, and sanitation awareness and requested everyone to follow the teachings of Baba Saheb B. R. Ambedkar.
