AIIMS Bhopal's AYUSH Department organized a health camp in Bhojpur village today. This initiative was guided by Professor (Dr.) Ajai Singh, the Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal. Professor Singh is a strong advocate for expanding health services to rural populations.
The health camp was organized at Bhojpur village, in which many patients came and took advantage of the health camp.
Medical Officer Dr. Ashish Kumar Dixit and Yoga Instructor Chanchal Suryavanshi were present on behalf of AYUSH. A special yoga session was also conducted for the children of Integrated Government High School of Bhojpur village, in which the children participated enthusiastically.
In this camp, there were sessions on yoga consultation, AYUSH counseling, and free distribution of AYUSH medicines to patients.
The villagers were also educated about overall health awareness. People of all ages, from youth to elderly, participated in this event. Many of them were suffering from diseases like diabetes, arthritis, anxiety, and high blood pressure.
The doctors from the AYUSH department advised them on preventive measures and remedies for these diseases, emphasizing that regular practice of yoga could greatly alleviate these conditions. They also stressed the importance of balanced diet.
Professor (Dr.) Ajai Singh commended the efforts of the AYUSH department in organizing this health camp. He highlighted the importance of outreach activities like these in improving access to healthcare services and outcomes in rural areas. He emphasized the unwavering commitment for reaching remote rural populations.
