Advaita Vedanta philosophy is helpful in nation coordination: Pathak

The first special lecture was organized in the memory of Padmashree V Venkatachalam  on 18 October 2024 at Maharishi Panini Sanskrit evam Vedic Vishwavidyalaya, Ujjain. Keynote speaker Prof Murali Manohar Pathak, Vice Chancellor, Shrilal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, New Delhi, speaking on the topic "Rashtra Samanvay Sadhak Advaita Darshan", said that Advaita philosophy has an important role in establishing coordination among all the sects in the Indian thought stream.

Advaita Vedanta philosophy is the main among the various branches of Vedanta philosophy, here only one element Brahma or soul is accepted as the ultimate power.

The experience of 'Aham Brahmasmi' makes a person meet Brahma and this paves the way for the welfare of the person.  The chairman of the program, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Vijay Kumar CG said that Padma V Venkatachal was a Sanskrit scholar and a great philosopher.

A lecture on Advaita Vedanta philosophy was organized in his memory so that everyone could get acquainted with his multi-dimensional personality. Indian philosophy, which includes Advaita Vedanta, has a special place in the development of the nation and establishing all kinds of coordination. Adi Shankaracharya and other sages have established Advaita philosophy in India. Due to which the nation has made spiritual progress. On this occasion, prizes were distributed to the winning students in the Padma V Venkatachal Smriti competitions.

The introduction and guest introduction was done by the coordinator and head of the Philosophy Department, Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Dwivedi. The program was specially attended by the Registrar, Prof. Dilip Soni, Dr. Shubha Mungi, Prof. Kedar Narayan Joshi, Girish Govardhan Choubey, Tulsidas Paroha, Nalini Revdikar,Pooja Upadhyaya, etc. and teachers, students and other listeners.
