Padiyal is a village in the Malwa region, with a population of 5 thousand 500. More than 100 officers from this village serve in the country and the surrounding states. There is also an average of one government employee in every house in this village that is a total of 300.
Youth here started to compete since the time of independence to appear in competitive examinations. Not only this, Bapu Singh Alawa was the first MLA from the Kukshi Assembly in the assembly elections after independence.
This village comes under the Dahi block of Dhar district with a literacy rate of 90 percent. In Padiyal, known as the officers’ village, people only dream of becoming officers. Manoj Dubey, who has been working as BRC in this area for a long time, has done many works for the betterment of education. As a result, the rate of education here is very high. He said that 12 officers of the village have retired and are engaged in public service. The youth currently studying are pursuing higher education inspired by elders.
The social fabric of the village focuses on education. According to BRC Dubey, smart classes have been started in the school for the students of Classes VI to XII in Padiyal. This year, 4 students from here got selected for NEET while 3 students got selected for JEE Mains and are studying Medicine and Engineering.
