A glimpse of ‘MP in Modi's mind' seen in the budget: VD

Tuesday, 30 July 2024 | Staff Reporter | Bhopal

State President of Bharatiya Janata Party and Khajuraho MP Vishnudutt Sharma participated in the discussion on the budget proposal in Lok Sabha on Monday.

He said that the new budget of the Modi government is a budget that fulfills the resolution of making the country a developed India by 2047. The opposition only does negative politics of lies, deceit and fraud. In fact, the budget of the Modi government is all-encompassing, inclusive and development-oriented. I congratulate and thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for this historic budget.

Sharma said that from the speeches of the opposition leaders who were speaking before me, it has become clear that the opposition, which does politics of lies, deceit and fraud in the country, is also playing a negative role in the House.

An opposition leader was saying that there is no opportunity for 17 crore Muslims of the country in the budget. I want to tell him that for the last ten years, the government of Prime Minister has been working on the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas. The Modi government has worked for every society, every section and the current budget is also a budget that fulfills the aspirations of 140 crore countrymen and proves the concepts of Amritkaal.

The budget presented under the leadership of the Prime Minister is an economic document for the creation of a self-reliant India.BJP State President and MP Shri Vishnudutt Sharma said that when we were contesting elections in Madhya Pradesh, we had said that Modi is in the mind of MP and Modi ji has MP in his mind. With this slogan, we ran the election campaign and made a record of victory in the Assembly. In the Lok Sabha elections, we won all 29 seats.

During the Lok Sabha elections, some people said that Chhindwara is this stronghold, that stronghold. We said that this is the stronghold of the beneficiaries of the schemes of the Modi government and we won in Chhindwara as well. Shri Sharma said that the budget presented by Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman ji for the year 2024-25 also reflects that 'Modi is in the mind of MP'. In this budget, Madhya Pradesh has been given Rs 97907 crore, which is Rs 11205 crore more than the previous budget.

For this, on behalf of the people of Madhya Pradesh, I thank Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman. I also thank the Railway Minister that Rs 14738 crore has been given for rail facilities in Madhya Pradesh, which was only Rs 632 crore during the Congress rule.

Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, historic work has been done for the development of rail facilities in Madhya Pradesh. In the last 10 years, Madhya Pradesh has received many gifts ranging from 1062 flyovers.BJP State President Shri Vishnudutt Sharma said that when Prime Minister Narendra Modi took oath in 2014, he had said that my government is a government dedicated to the poor.

Today I want to mention in this House that Congress ruled this country for 55 years, but did nothing for poverty eradication. A former Congress Prime Minister used to say that if we send one rupee for the poor, then 85 paise are eaten up by brokers and middlemen. Only 15 paise reaches the poor.

But today I can say with pride that the efforts made by the Modi government for good governance and the end of corruption result in the entire one rupee reaching the account of the poor. Due to the schemes launched for the welfare of the poor, today 25 crore people in India have come out of the poverty line. This has been possible under the leadership of Modi ji.

Sharma said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji had started the Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana in 2020, under which even today 80 crore families are being given free ration. Under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, 30 crore people have been given the right to free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh.
