60 cases setlled in Monthly Lok Adalat in Garhwa

A total of 60 cases were executed. and a total revenue of Rs 1,96,750.00 was received in Monthly Lok Adalat held at Civil Court Garhwa and Sub-Divisional Court Nagar Untari, on Saturday. Following the instructions of Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JLSA), Ranchi and on the order of Principal District Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority Rajesh Sharan Singh, a "Monthly Lok Adalat" was organized  on Saturday. 

For the execution of various cases,, five benches (including Nagar Untari Sub-Divisional Civil Court) were constituted  in which Dinesh Kumar, District and Additional Sessions Judge-VI, Kumar Vipul, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Veena Kumari, Judicial Magistrate, Abhinav Tripathi, Judicial Magistrate and Arvind Kachhap, Additional-Chief Judicial Magistrate Nagar Untari were present. Along with the Judicial Magistrate, one advocate each was also nominated for all the benches. Among them were advocates Praveen Kumar Sahu, Nityanand Dubey, Anita Ranjan, Vijay Kumar and Hanseshwar Pandey-Nagar Untari.

 

In this monthly Lok Adalat, 39 cases from Criminal Compensable, and 21 cases of Electricity were present.  A total of 60 cases, including 21 related to the department, were executed. Due to which a total revenue of Rs 1,96,750.00/- was received.

 

On this occasion, a cheque of Rs 3,75,000 was given to the victims Krishna Ram and Geeta Devi in case number 06/2023 under the Motor Vehicles Act by the Hon'ble Principal District and Sessions Judge - Co-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Garhwa.

 

Judicial officers, advocates, court personnel, PLB Suryadev Chaudhary and parties were present in the Lok Adalat.
