Over five hours of power failure in the night was witnessed in Bairagarh (Sant Hirdaram Nagar) due to a fault and the supply remained stopped for hours.

In the severely hot and humid conditions power disruption created restlessness among the citizens who are bearing temperature which remains at 30 degrees at night. People got worried due to the intense heat. Many people spent the night outside their homes.

In the night itself, Congress leader Naresh Gyanchandani raised his objection in front of the officers. After this the fault finding started.

Congress leader Gyanchandani said that there was power failure in the Bairagarh area at 1.30 in the night. Contacted the local officials of the electricity company in the night itself, but the conversation did not go through.

Talked to AGM Sameer Sharma on this. He sent the team in the night itself. Electricity was restored by 6:30 in the morning. Gyanchandani said that due to shortage of staff at the local level, the improvement work is taking time.

Same thing happened in Bairagarh at night. When there is a power failure here, a team from the city comes. People continued to suffer due to power cuts. He spent the night outside the house.

The load on the transformer had increased, due to which the fault occurred.

In this case, AGM Sharma said that due to increase in load there was a fault in the transformer. At the same time, 33 KVA line was also closed. For this reason the team remained busy through the night. As soon as the fault was found, it was rectified. After this the power supply was started.
