A four-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by her 12-year-old cousin at Bilkharia:  due to family pressure, a complaint was made after a month of the incident when the victim reported pain in private parts. 

A case of  sexual assault  of a four-year-old girl living in Bilkhiria area of Bhopal was reported in which come to light. The crime was committed by her cousin a month ago. The police have taken the accused minor into custody and sent him to the juvenile home.

The girl was constantly complaining of pain in her private part to the family, when the mother inquired, the girl informed her mother about the incident. However, due to family pressure, the mother could not lodge a complaint on time.

According to the police, the 4-year-old girl lives in the Bilkharia area. Her uncle's house is in her neighborhood. About a month ago, her cousin took her to his house on the pretext of playing where he sexually assaulted the girl.

As the accused was related to her the parents restrained from an immediate complaint at the police station.

On Wednesday, the family took the girl to the police station, where a complaint was lodged against the cousin. The police got the girl medically examined.

Police say that both are from the same family and the accused family members denied such an incident, but medical examination has confirmed sexual assault in which private part was hurt.

Police have registered a case and started an investigation. Police have taken the juvenile offender into custody. It has also come to light that the juvenile offender has done dirty acts with the girl in the past as well. At present, the police are busy investigating the case.
