Four persons were injured after an altercation between two neighbours turned violent at Karond in the night on Friday; in the fight one bike was also set on fire, the two families had an old dispute which fuelled in the night after a small altercation.

Nishatpura police said that two families got into a heated argument on Friday night due to an old dispute which later turned violent  in which 4 people were injured.

It was said that a bike was also burnt to ashes in the arson incident. After complaints from both sides, the police have registered a case and started an investigation.

According to Nishatpura police, Ashish Sharma (41) lives in Krishna Nagar Karod and is an electrician. Shivam Pandey lives with his family in front of his house. Ashish's and Shivam's sons have a dispute over an old matter.

Ashish told the police that his son Abhay was returning home on his bike at around 10 pm on Friday night, on the way he met the neighbor's son Bholu Pandey. He stopped Abhay and abused and threatened Abhay and complained about this after coming home.

Later when Ashish and Abhay reached Shivam Pandey with the complaint, Pandey took the side of his son and misbehaved with the father and son.

Not only this, Shivam and his son Bholu started beating Ashish with sticks. Later, Abhay and Ashish also beat up the neighbouring father-son.

In the complaint given to the police, Shivam alleged that Ashish and Abhay had entered his house and set it on fire, in which the bike was burnt to ashes.
