In the Hariharpur OP area of Garhwa district, police have apprehended three individuals suspected of planning a criminal act, confiscating a country-made gun, a seven-round revolver, a six-round pistol, and a live cartridge during the operation.

Superintendent of Police Deepak Kumar Pandey confirmed the arrests, stating that authorities received confidential information suggesting that the trio from Hariharpur village were in possession of illegal firearms, which they were allegedly using to intimidate local residents. In response, a police team was mobilised under the direction of SDPO Satyendra Narayan Singh from Banshidhar Nagar.

During a raid, officers targeted the home of one Raju Kumar in Hariharpur Bhundar, where they found a concealed country-made gun on the roof of the property and seized his mobile phone. Continuing their investigation, police located another illegal firearm, equipped with seven rounds, in a field roughly 150 metres from Raju Kumar's residence, following a lead from Pawan Kumar Gupta.

The team then proceeded to the home of Subodh Kumar Gupta, also known as Prince Kumar, who was recognised in a photograph alongside Raju Kumar and Pawan Kumar Gupta. Acting on Gupta's information, police unearthed an additional country-made gun with six rounds and a cartridge buried in a field approximately 400 metres from his home.

All three suspects have been taken into custody. Superintendent Pandey further noted that all officers who participated in the operation will receive commendations for their efforts.
