Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minster Arun Sao said on Wednesday that there shall be no compromise in the quality of development works.
“Change the old and obsolete ways and use modern technologies in construction and repair works.
“If a work is not completed on time, the concerned officer shall be held liable."
Sao said this at a meeting of the Public Works, Public Health Engineering and Urban Administration and Development departments in Nava Raipur.
He asked them to prepare a system for third party evaluation of the works done by the Public Works Department.
He told the officials of the Public Health Engineering Department to complete the targets of Jal Jeevan Mission expeditiously.
The officials briefed Sao about the about the infrastructure related works and the financial status of the urban bodies.
Sao emphasised coordinated development of urban bodies and reforms.
