The deceased has been identified as a 19 year old Aishwarya Pandey, who was sitting just behind the driver seat. He is a first-year Bachelor of Arts (BA) student at Delhi University’s Deshbandhu College and hailed from Uttar Pradesh’s Etawah. He had rented the car for a night to celebrate his birthday.
According to police, the black coloured Hyundai Venue car had five occupants, all students of Delhi University colleges, who were returning from a birthday party at a pub in neighbouring Gurugram.

“The car was going from Shanti Van Red light towards Geeta Colony, when it reached at ISBT Slip road at around 05.52 am where it collided with the divider,” DCP North Manoj Kumar Meena said.
