Sovereign School, Rohini’s premier educational institution, celebrated its Annual Day, “UTSAV 2024” on December 15. This remarkable event served as a platform for students from Pre-School to 12 to showcase their talents.
Principal Preetika Gupta highlighted the institution’s achievements and progress throughout the year. Outstanding students were honored for their academic and extracurricular achievements. School Chairman Ram Niwas Jindal said, “The Sovereign School is like one big family. Our aim is to provide holistic education, innovation, and a global perspective, enabling them to become responsible and intelligent.”
Earlier, the event began with the lighting of lamps and Shankhnaad, focusing on important global issues including life on earth, gender equality, health and wellness, and climate action. The captivating performances included a harmonious orchestra, heart-touching vocal renditions, and an engaging thematic ballet. Dynamic presentations such as Zumba, yoga demonstrations, and a mesmerizing UV light act left the audience highly impressed.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, with Padma Shri Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Verma, Vice-Chancellor of GGS IP University, Delhi, as the Chief Guest. Hon'ble Justice Mr. Vijender Jain, Former Chief Justice of Punjab & Haryana and Delhi High Courts, Hon'ble Justice Dr. Sudhir Jain, Former Judge of the Delhi High Court, Hon'ble Justice Mr. Manmohan Sharma, Principal Judge of the Family Court, East District, Delhi, and Hon'ble Justice Mr. Manish Khurana, Judge of Family Courts 01, Karkardooma Court Complex, Delhi.
