The Ministry of Ayush, in association with the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), and National Institute of Homoeopathy (NIH), announced the organisation of the World Homoeopathy Day Symposium 2024.
The significant event is slated to commemorate the 269th birth anniversary of Dr Samuel Hahnemann, the revered founder of homoeopathy.
Scheduled to be held on April 10th and 11th, 2024, at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in Dwarka, New Delhi, the symposium promises to be a gathering of eminent minds from across the globe.
The Chief Guest for the occasion will be the President of India Draupadi Murmu.
With a multifaceted aim, the symposium endeavours to honour Dr. Hahnemann’s legacy while also highlighting the strides made in homoeopathic research across various domains.
It seeks to foster collaboration among diverse fields including medicine, research, chemistry, physics, microbiology, and pharmacology.
Discussions will revolve around the seamless integration of homoeopathy into the national healthcare landscape and its potential to address the evolving healthcare needs of the population.
The event’s schedule is packed with engaging sessions that promise to offer valuable insights and perspectives. Dignitaries slated to attend the inaugural ceremony include Padma Shri Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary of the Ministry of Ayush, alongside distinguished Padma Awardees in the field of Ayush. International homoeopathic experts from Spain, Columbia, Canada, Bangladesh, and the Netherlands will also lend their expertise, adding a global dimension to the discourse.
The scientific program is designed to be comprehensive, encompassing plenary presentations on groundbreaking research findings in clinical and basic research, drug development, public health initiatives, and veterinary sciences.
Panel discussions will also explore the advancements made in interdisciplinary research, data curation, quality assurance, and regulatory strategies for homeopathy.
Importantly, the symposium will deliberate on the growing body of evidence supporting the efficacy of homeopathy.
