Men open fire at supermarket, car workshop in Delhi in two separate incidents

Two firing incidents took place in Najafgarh and Paschim Vihar West area on Wednesday where some men opened fire at a supermarket and a car workshop.

This comes within a span of 48 hours when two shooting incidents took place in different areas of the national Capital including one in Outer North Delhi’s Alipur area and Outer Delhi’s Nangloi area at a furniture shop and a property dealer's office respectively. According to the police, no casualties were reported in the incidents.

The police said that three men opened fire at a supermart in the Meera Bagh area of outer Delhi on Wednesday. "At around 2.30 pm, a call regarding a firing incident was received at Paschim Vihar West police station. Teams from the local police reached the location after information," the officer said.

During the investigation, the police found that the complainant was working at his shop when three masked men on a motorcycle fired multiple rounds at the shop and fled. The crime team inspected the spot, and based on the complainant's statement, a case was registered.
