Integrated Medical Association IMA (Ayus) on Sunday will organise the annual celebration of Lord Dhanvantari Jayanti at NDMC Auditorium, Janpath, Delhi on Sunday, October 27,2024. Ram Niwas Goyal, Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly will inaugurate the event while Saurabh Bhardwaj, Health Minister of the Delhi Government, will be the chief guest.On this occasion, doctors who have done excellent work in Ayurveda and Unani medicine will be honoured.The Dhanvantari Award, Sushruta Award, and Charak Award will be given for significant contributions to Ayurveda.The Hakim Ajmal Khan Award and Dr. Abdul Hamid Award will be presented for commendable contributions to Unani medicine. In addition, Dr. JS Panwar Memorial and Dr. Hari Shankar Dev Sharma Memorial Awards will be given for the distinguished workers of the institution.
The event will be presided over by Dr. Yogita Munjal, Director, Ayush Directorate of Delhi Government and Krishna Jakhar,Corporation Councilor.
