Mr Umang Taneja, Pioneer of Nadi Astrology globally and the author of “Accurate Predictive Methodology “, had file a complaint on 06/12/2022 against two accused namely Sh. Rahul Kaushik, purveyor of modern analytics in Jyotish and Sh.Anuj Guar, head of maintenance of IIT HauzKhas, for piracy of content in their book “KP Astrology - The Hidden Secrets”; a book published by Chennai based publishing house – Notion Press. A case under Section 63 of the Copy Right Act has been registered in this regard.
A complaint was lodged on 6 March 2020 to The SHO, Police 26/12/226 Station, Tilak Nagar, against Sh. Rahul Kaushik and Sh. Anuj Gaur for copying content in their book titled “KP Astrology -The Hidden Secrets” from the book titled “Accurate Predictive Methodology” authored by Umang Taneja with copyright no. L-18458/99. The book “Accurate Predictive Methodology” has been in circulation since 1999 and is also translated into Hindi and Spanish languages whereas the plagiarized book “KP Astrology- The Hidden Secrets” is available on amazon.Sh.Rahul Kaushik is claiming that he has authored the book under the guidance of Sh. K N Rao who is teaching Astrology in Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, New Delhi - 110001
Despite agreeing to withdraw the book from circulation after the complaint, the accused Sh. Rahul Kumar didn’t comply and took no action regarding the same. Complying with this, FIR no: 0747 / 2022, PS Tilak Nagar has been registered.
The complainant, Umang Taneja,Founder and President, JTR Astrological Research Institute stated “Prior to that (the FIR) Mr. Rahul Kaushik agreed to withdraw the book “KP Astrology the Hidden secrets” from the market on 31 October 2022 within a month in front of Inspector Ashok Kumar Ji, DIU (west). I agreed if he withdraws the book my complaint of 6th March 2020 should be deemed withdrawn. Unfortunately, he did not withdraw the book from the market. Hence, I had to pursue my case further and FIR was lodged on both the accused.”
Further investigation in this case is under progress.
Mr. Umang Taneja has been teaching and consulting all across the globe for over two decades. He is also actively taking part in various symposiums and conferences in India. As on today he has students in five continents and in nearly all small & big countries of the world. He has also participated in numerous TV programs in various TV channels. Since Umang Taneja travels the world to teach Astrology, he has been recognised as an Educator in Parliament of Canada, Legislative Assembly of Alberta and by the Spanish newspaper as well. He heads a group of Astrologers for the research and development of the science of Nadi Astrology further for the benefit of mankind.
The book, Accurate Predictive Methodology authored by Umang Taneja carries formulations of all events of life, method and illustrations to use it. Umang Taneja takes up illustrations and live examples provided by students in class to make them understand the application of science of Nadi Astrology. In addition to Accurate Predictive Methodology, he has authored 5 more unique books in Astrology. Accurate Predictive Methodology is available in Hindi, English and Spanish languages.
