After expulsion of TMC leader Mahua Moitra from the Parliament in the cash for query scam, an MP from Odisha had received funds for Moitra from Dubai through a Hawala operator, exposed a Delhi-based news channel. 

The popular YouTuber with over 4-million subscribers exposed that the Odisha MP had received funds for Moitra from Dubai- based business tycoon Darshan Hiranandani. The MP having closeness with the expelled TMC leader was providing her legal assistance, told the channel by indirectly hinting about his link with Puri. 

After the news went viral on social media, talks are thick in Puri about the Odisha leader and his political affiliation. After the exposure, people here have begun querying the whereabouts of the unknown leader and the party he represents. Talks are also that since it is a money laundering case, the MP might come under scanner of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) like the 3 AAP leaders, who are presently in Tihar jail.      

According to the YouTube channel, the ex-boyfriend of TMC leader Jai Dehadrai in his submission before the Ethics Committee of Parliament had said that the MP from Odisha was always in telephonic conversations with the expelled TMC leader and Dubai based business tycoon Hiranandani.  The MP having closeness with Moitra had received funds from Hiranandani sent to her for safe investment, which Dehadrai, as an ex-boyfriend, was listening to from the conversion among the trios.  

Though the YouTuber didn’t name the MP, the party he represents and whether he is a Member of Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha, however, the grapevine here has it that the Odisha leader was linked to Puri some way or other.
