The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has initiated the e-auction process for institutional plots in five categories in Greater Noida.
These plots, situated in proximity to Jewar airport, offer prime location for the development of nursing homes, hospitals, maternity centres, corporate offices, and senior secondary schools in Sectors 18, 20 and 22E of Greater Noida.
As part of the scheme recently launched by YEIDA, interested parties can apply for plot acquisition until January 1, 2024, with the e-auction process scheduled for completion by February 29, 2024.
The plots will be allotted on leasehold basis for 90 years. Under the plot allotment scheme, the way has been cleared for bidding for 11 plots ranging from 1,000 square metre to 10,900 square metre areas through e-auction. The reserved prices of these plots range from Rs 4.75 crore to Rs 25.95 crore, with ICICI Bank serving as the banking partner for the e-auction process.
To participate in the e-auction, interested parties can download the brochure by paying a processing fee of Rs 25,000 on the official website of YEIDA.
These plots will not only be in close proximity to Jewar airport but also near significant landmarks such as the International Film City (Noida), F-1 MotoGP Track, Medical Device Park, Electronic Manufacturing Cluster and Toy Park. Additionally, they will be adjacent to the Yamuna Expressway. Apart from this, its connectivity with the proposed Eastern Peripheral Expressway will also be ensured.
Institutions intending to establish their units on the allocated land through the plot allotment scheme must adhere to various standards and undertake the development of essential civic amenities within their units. Under this scheme, hospitals are required to establish not only medical treatment facilities, but also additional infrastructure, including a hospital, ATM booths, auditorium, bank counter extension, information centre, canteen, stores, international conference centre and chemist store. The comprehensive development of facilities such as shops and internet centres is also mandatory.
Nursing homes, on the other hand, must have the facilities of clinical laboratories and chemist stores in addition to treatment centres.
Corporate office spaces allotted through the scheme should encompass corporate offices, conference rooms, seminar halls, multilevel parking and auditoriums. For units designated as senior secondary schools, the development should include school premises with amenities such as a canteen, swimming pool, library, labs, indoor games hall and hostel.
The institutions are expected to construct and develop a range of facilities corresponding to their respective purposes.
