Wrong post leaves Congress leaders in tizzy

Wednesday, 05 April 2023 | Staff Reporter | Bhopal

Social media has become a big part of politics these days. Politicians use it very well to convey their message to the maximum number of people in less time. But many times a small mistake made on a social media also becomes the reason for the gritty. One such case has come to the fore in Bhopal, where the post made by two Congress MLAs on social media now seems to be becoming gritty for the party.

The matter is such that on April 04 it was the birth anniversary of poet Makhan Lal Chaturvedi. On the birth date of Makhan Lal Chaturvedi, a resident of Madhya Pradesh, the leaders remembered him by posting his picture on their social media. In this series, former ministers and current Congress MLAs PC Sharma and Omkar Singh Markam posted wrong pictures on their Twitter handle which has become a sore in the eye for Congress.

In fact, Congress MLA PC Sharma did a post on his Twitter handle on the birth anniversary of Makhanlal Chaturvedi, in which he quoted Makhanlal Chaturvedi's lines 'Mujhe tod lena banmali, us path par dena tum fek! On the birth anniversary of Makhan Lal Chaturvedi ji, the great poet and journalist of the Hindi literature and freedom fighter. " But, he made a mistake in posting the picture,he posted the picture of Maithili Sharan Gupta.

Similarly, Congress MLA Omkar Singh Markam also made a mistake and replaced Maithali Sharan Gupta's picture with that of Makhan Lal Chaturvedi.

The wrong picture posted on Twitter by Congress MLAs and former ministers is now making Congress wary of reactions from the public. While users are trolling both the leaders, the BJP is also not behind in taking a jibe.
