Winter Session concludes with ruckus on the last day

Friday, 22 December 2023 | PNS | Ranchi

On the fifth and last day of the winter session of the Assembly, the proceedings of the House began with an uproar. This time the ruckus was started not by the opposition but by the ruling party. JVM MLA Pradeep Yadav accused Babulal of contempt of the assembly by making a statement in the media about the speaker. He demanded action against the BJP state president. The ruling party MLAs also entered the well of the house. After which Amar Bauri strongly opposed the remarks of Pradeep Yadav.

Bauri said that if we talk about the account books of the Assembly, Pradeep Yadav is still the MLA of JVM and Babulal is his party President. Therefore, it does not suit Pradeep Yadav to talk like this about Babulal. Bauri asked Pradeep Yadav to apologize to Babulal, which the ruling party opposed. Pradeep Yadav said that if he is a JVM MLA, then accordingly he is the leader of the House from JVM. In such a situation, why doesn't Babulal discuss with him? Without any reason he has become the state president of BJP. As soon as he said this, the uproar from both sides intensified and the Speaker adjourned the proceedings of the House till 12.30 pm.

Earlier, before the commencement of the House on the last day of the winter session of the Jharkhand Assembly, BJP MLAs attacked the government. Protest was also expressed outside the House. Suspended MLA Biranchi Narayan for the winter session called the government anti-youth and useless. Said that the government has failed to clarify the planning policy. Because of that, lakhs of youth are on the streets. The government is trying to deceive the youth by talking about including planning policy in the Ninth Schedule of the Constitution.

Anant Ojha also said that this is an anti-youth government. The Governor had given suggestions for planning policy with reasonable facts but the government was not ready for it. Once again the future of the youth is at stake. Shashibhushan Mehta said that sand and water are gifts of nature. But it is also looted by this government. The public is troubled by the attitude of the police officers. Aparna Sen Gupta said that the government is anti-women. Women are afraid due to the breakdown of law and order. Incidents of crime are increasing. The transport minister described the BJP MLAs outside the House as anti-tribal.  He said that those who understand the pain of the tribals here will definitely support the planning policy. BJP is on an anti-tribal path in this matter.
