A court on Saturday jailed a 33-year-old man and his elderly father for 10 years after a dowry-linked death of the former's wife in Raipur city.
Additional Public Prosecutor Raghvendra Singh told The Pioneer that Fourth Additional Sessions Judge Ajay Singh Rajput found Ravi Soni and his father Purushottam guilty. On December 21, 2020, Priyanka Soni hanged herself to death following constant dowry harassment by her husband and father-in-law.
