A painful road accident took place early Thursday morning on Lalpania turning point in Bokaro district. Here a hyva truck collided with a tree, due to which the driver died on the spot,while the helper got injured. However the hyva truck was badly damaged.
Police sources said that the driver Bhairav Ganjhu was a resident of Tapin area located in Charhi in Hazaribagh district. On getting information about the incident, Jageshwar Bihar police station in-charge Sandeep Krishna reached the spot and took possession of the body and immediately sent it to Tenughat sub-divisional hospital for post-mortem.
After getting information about the incident, Bhairav Ganjhu's family members also reached there. While Sandeep Krishna told that the Hyva truck had gone to Bokaro Thermal carrying coal from Tapin Colliery and was returning after unloading coal from there, when the hyva truck collided with a tree at 5 o'clock in the morning near Khakhanda village located in Kunda panchayat on Lalpania turning point and in this accident the truck driver died on the spot.While the helper suffered minor injuries.
The hyva truck was also badly damaged after colliding with a tree. It is being speculated that the driver had dozed off. This is why this accident happened.
