In a shocking incident, a Class-X student suddenly died while taking the matric examination in the Damanjodi-Mathalput area of Koraput district on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Kuna Pujari, a student of the Malusanta Government High School.
As per reports, the boy was appearing for the test at the Saraswati Vidya Mandir centre in Nalco township when he suddenly fell unconscious. The school authorities immediately rushed him to the Nalco hospital in an ambulance, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.
On getting information, the Damanjodi police arrived at the spot and started an investigation. The exact cause of death was yet to be ascertained and further probe was underway, sources said.
