The children of DAV Public School Hazaribag established their dominance in the competition of all categories and secured their place in the national level competition.The State Level Taekwondo Tournament 2023 concluded at D.A.V. Public School, Hazaribag. Shri Saurabh Ranjan, Cluster Head, Deputy Vice President Cluster, Hazaribag, HDFC Bank was present as the chief guest in the closing ceremony. On this occasion, honorable guest Mr. Ahsan-ul-Haq, City-Coordinator CBSE Hazaribagh, Co-Principal Oasis School Hazaribag and Mohammad Shahnawaz Rizvi Station Manager, Hazaribag Railway Station were also present. The Chief Guest congratulated the winning students of all the 34 teams present. Congratulating the players on their success, he extended many good wishes. 

He appreciated the hard work of the players and their sporting spirit. The result of the competition was as follows In Boys Under 14 age group, Harshit Raj, DAV School Canary Hill Hazaribagh won gold medal in 45 kg category.In the under-17 boys category, Vishwajeet Raj Singh, DAV Public School Hazaribag won gold medal and Shaurya Sinha won silver medal.Sugandha Kumari, DAV Public School Hazaribag won the gold medal in Under-19 Girls category. In the same age group, Simran Saha also won the silver medal.In the Under-19 Boys category, Sankalp Giani DAV Hazaribagh won the gold medal in 63 kg category and Divyanshu Aditya won the silver medal.As the best player, Subhash Kumar in Under-19 Boys, DAV Bharech Nagar, Sugandha Kumari in Under-19 Girls, DAV Hazaribag, Vishwajit Raj Singh Hazaribag in Under-17 Boys, Ms. DAV Satar in Under-17 Girls, Abrar Ahmed in Under-14 Boys. DAV Pundag, and Ayushi Kumar DAV Barhi was selected in Under 14 Girls.Among the trophy winners, Cluster VII stood first and Cluster I stood second in Under-19 Boys. In Under-19 Girls, Cluster VII stood first and Cluster 1 stood second. In Under 17 Boys, Cluster VII stood first and Cluster III stood second. In Under 17 Girls, Cluster III stood first and Cluster VII stood second. In Under 14 Boys, Cluster VII stood first and Cluster VI stood second. In Under 14 Girls, Cluster II stood first and Cluster VII stood second.Mrs. Kavita Pandey, Incharge Principal, DAV Public School Hazaribagh congratulated all the winning players and wished them for their bright future.
