The students of class XII were given a grand farewell in St Mary’s Convent Sr Sec School on Tuesday in the colourful programme held in the school premises.
A traditional welcome was given to the students. The programme began with a solemn prayer service. The main attractions of the event were an enlightening skit, power packed dances and a melodious choir.
Principal Sr Maria Jagtap addressed the students and wished them success in life. She urged them to always uphold the Marian values and use them as a shield to protect them from all evils and to be instrumental in building a better world.
All the students were felicitated on the stage and were given many titles and awards on their performances over the years. The School deputy Prime Minister Shivanshi Singh was adjudged as Ms St.Mary’s and Shivansh Agrawal as Mr St.Mary’s.
The best students’ award in the Academics category went to Vidyanshi Jain and Disha Bharadwaj. The most punctual students were Ridham Brhmabhatt and Juveriya Asif and the most disciplined were Kritika Ghosh and Anupriya Alawa. Sarvesh Bhavedia, Samruddhi Tavse and Shreya Vinodia were given 100% attendance awards. Rudransh Goyal and Bhushan Pandit were chosen as the most courteous students.
The National skating star Sayyeda Masooma Fatima was given the Outstanding sports achievement award and Shivam Saraswat was awarded for outstanding performance in music. Decent Dude and Decent Diva titles were given to Somil Dixit and Ayushi Chouhan. Nehal Chaturvedi, the prime minister of the school was conferred with the Star of the Day.
The president , the prime minister and the deputy prime ministers of the school expressed their gratitude to the management and the staff on behalf of the outgoing students and also thanked the junior students for putting up an impressive programme.
