SN Gupta, ITS (1992 batch) has assumed the charge of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) in Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). Mr Gupta has extensive experience of about 30 years in various technical and capacity-building work. Having joined the Indian Telecom Service (ITS) in the 1992 batch, Mr Gupta has an extensive experience of about 30 years in various technical and capacity building functions. Notably Mr Gupta served as Director at the Central Vigilance Commission for five years, contributing to enhancement of vigilance mechanisms within the government. Additionally, he has spent two years as the Chief Vigilance Officer at the Sports Authority of India, where he played a key role in ensuring transparency and integrity in sports governance.
