The Sewa Sadan Eye hospital helped in bringing vision back of a 29-year-old married woman of Jehangirabad.

Ziya (Changed name and address) was ailing with a crack in her left eye Six year before. She lost her vision and very much disappointed with this incident. Ziya's parents later brought her to AIIMS Delhi where initially suture procedure was done on her eye crack. Gradually she gained vision. After gaining normal condition, she got marry with a middle class businessman. Everything was normal in her life but again 45 days before one another crack was emerged in her Right eye also and lost vision.  Family member have now decided to consult Dr. Prerna Upadhyaya of Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital.

Dr Prerna examined the patient and she also performed suture procedure initially on April 8, 2023. After few days patient Ziya gained vision. Dr. Prerna performed her penetrating Keratoplasty (PKP) procedure on May 27th, 2023. After ten days of this procedure her bandage was removed yesterday. On observing best results of PKP procedure, patient Ziya was very much happy. Ziya expressed that she can now very well see this beautiful world.

Dr Prerna Upadhyaya advised her for PKP procedure in her left eye also. Dr. Prerna told Ziya that incomplete treatment is always harmful, so she should undergo PKP procedure in her left eye also. Now Ziya and family members also agree. Parents and spouse of Ziya thanked Dr Prerna and Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital staff. They also appealed other such ailing people to contact immediately at SSEH for the treatment. Ziyas mother was also very much happy and wished all the best for the eye surgeon and the staff.
