Bhubaneswar MP AparajitaSarangi took up a review of the progress of all 41 projects and the Capital Region Ring Road (CRRR) worth nearly Rs 6,000 crore that she got sanctioned and started with National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) officials recently.
The 41 projects include 29 vehicle underpasses, nine flyovers and three foot overbridges worth Rs 529 crore. These projects have been undertaken in the Bhubaneswar Parliamentary Constituency in the last four years and most of them have been completed.
Besides, to ease traffic problem in Bhubaneswar, she has got the CRRR project approved worth Rs 5,200 crore. She asked the officials to expedite the process of completion within the fixed timelines.
"In the last four years as an MP from Bhubaneswar, one of my main thrusts was construction of required infrastructure for people's convenience and ease along the National Highway. I am Grateful to PM NarendraModi and Minister NitinGadkari for their tremendous support and blessings. All my requests for new projects were allowed," said Sarangi.
