In the inaugural session BSL ED (Works) B K Tiwari, ED (Project) C R Mahapatra, ED (Finance & Accounts) Suresh Rangani, ED (Personnel & Administration) Rajan Prasad, Executive Director (Mines), Jaideep Dasgupta, ED (SRU), PK Rath, CMO Dr BB Karunamoy along with Chief General Managers, other senior officers and personnel were present.
The programme commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony by the dignitaries after which, CGM (Personnel) Hari Mohan Jha welcomed everyone. Chief Guest of the workshop, the ED said that it is a historic moment for SAIL employees to be a part of the campaign to redraft the vision statement of SAIL. He expressed confidence that the workshop will be successful in its objectives and as per the prescribed roadmap, the new vision statement can be launched from the corporate level on the upcoming SAIL Day. Notably Public Relations, Personnel and HRD departments had an important contribution in organizing the workshop.
